Justice Mansoor Raises Concerns Over Nomination of Additional Judges in Sindh and Peshawar High Courts
Islamabad: Justice Mansoor Ali Shah has expressed reservations over the nominations of additional judges to the Sindh and Peshawar High Courts. In a letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah raised concerns regarding the appointments and requested that the meeting of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) be postponed. He emphasized that the 26th Constitutional Amendment should be heard first before proceeding with the nominations.
Justice Mansoor’s letter urges the Chief Justice to reconsider the timing of the JCP’s meeting, stressing the importance of addressing the constitutional amendment before making any judicial appointments.
