Junior Girls Squash Championship: Sadf Afridi Qualifies for Semifinals

Peshawar: Sadf Afridi has successfully qualified for the semifinals of the Junior Girls Squash Championship. In the ongoing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Junior Squash Championship, organized by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Squash Association at the Qayyum Sports Complex in Peshawar, Sadf Afridi defeated Hiba Imtiaz with a 2-0 scoreline to secure her spot in the semifinals in the Girls Under-13 category.
Speaking after her win, Sadf Afridi expressed her ambition to make a mark at both national and international levels in squash. She shared that she is working hard, receiving full support from her parents, and is committed to continuous training and participation in various tournaments. “With the guidance of my parents and coach, I believe my hard work will pay off,” she said.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Junior Squash Championship includes competitions in Girls Under-13, Boys Under-9, Under-13, and Under-15 categories. Over 128 talented players from across the province are participating in the championship, which was officially inaugurated by Dawood Khan, Secretary of Public Health Engineering Department and President of KP Squash Association.
