JUI-F Balochistan Amir Molana Abdul Wasee Calls for Continued Struggle for Justice and Opposes Cuts in Balochistan’s Share in Key Projects
Quetta:Molana Abdul Wasee**, the Amir of **Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F)** Balochistan and Senator, expressed satisfaction over the conviction of the killers of **Molana Khalid Mahmood Somro**, but reaffirmed that the struggle for complete justice will continue until all perpetrators are fully held accountable. In a statement issued here, he emphasized that the recent ruling by the court had provided some comfort to the family and supporters of **Molana Somro**, but their fight for full justice is far from over.
Molana Wasee also addressed the ongoing issue of Balochistan’s share in the **Reko Diq** and **Saindak** projects. He strongly condemned the attempts to reduce the province’s share in these key projects, stating that **JUI-F** has consistently rejected political compromises in favor of provincial rights. He said, “We will not remain silent at any cost when it comes to the rights of our province. The fight for the rights of Balochistan is the fight of **Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam**.” He highlighted that political manipulation and compromises are being made at the expense of the province’s resources, and **JUI-F** will continue to stand firm against any injustice in this regard.
He also criticized the continuous delay in holding elections in **PB-45**, stating that it is unacceptable. “The constituency is deprived of its rightful representative, and the repeated postponements of elections are a mockery of the public’s right to vote,” he said. He accused political opponents of trying to delay the election through various tactics after seeing their inevitable defeat. “These delays must end, and the election should be held without any further hindrance,” he added.
On the issue of **Molana Khalid Mahmood Somro’s** murder case, Molana Wasee paid tribute to the relentless efforts of Somro’s family and the legal team, which led to the conviction of the killers after a long struggle. “We commend the efforts of the entire legal team and all those who worked tirelessly to bring justice. However, while the conviction is a step forward, we believe that life imprisonment is not complete justice for the crime committed,” he remarked. Molana Wasee affirmed that **JUI-F** will continue to stand with the **Somro family** and pursue justice through all available legal avenues until the case is fully concluded in a just manner.
In conclusion, Molana Wasee reiterated that **Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam** will remain a strong voice for the rights of the people of Balochistan, advocating for justice, fairness, and the proper allocation of resources to the province.
