Judicial Commission Meeting Convened for Nomination of Judges

Islamabad:In a crucial move, the **Chief Justice of Pakistan** has called a **meeting of the Judicial Commission** to discuss the nominations of judges for various courts. The meeting is scheduled to take place on **April 18, 2025**, at the **Supreme Court of Pakistan**.
During the meeting, the commission will deliberate on the nomination of **two additional judges** for the **Supreme Court’s Constitutional Bench**. This step is part of the ongoing judicial reforms and aims to ensure that the Supreme Court has the required expertise and capacity to handle constitutional cases.
In addition, the **Chief Justice** has scheduled another important meeting for **May 2, 2025**, where the commission will discuss the nomination of judges for the **Balochistan High Court**. The meeting will also review the **Peshawar High Court**’s judicial appointments, focusing on selecting suitable candidates for the bench.
