Job Opportunities for Pakistanis in Gulf Countries: OEC Announces Recruitment for Medical Professionals and Skilled Workers for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain
Islamabad: The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) has announced recruitment for medical professionals and skilled workers for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. According to OEC, medical professionals wishing to work in these countries must hold an MBBS degree or its equivalent from a recognized medical institution.
Additionally, applicants should have completed advanced medical administration courses such as High Medical Administration or ICD-10 ACIH, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in health or insurance organizations as insurance claims processors or auditors. The age limit for applicants is below 50 years, and there is no gender restriction.
OEC further stated that there is also a demand for skilled labor, particularly in the construction sector, in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Opportunities are available for positions such as Laboratory Manager, Laboratory Technicians, and other skilled workers.
For candidates applying in the construction sector, specific qualifications are required. For instance, a Laboratory Manager must have a BSc in Engineering or a Diploma in Civil Engineering, along with at least 15 years of experience. Laboratory Technicians must hold an associate degree in engineering or science.
OEC has clarified that all applicants must submit their applications online at oec.gov.pk by December 18, 2024. A bank challan of Rs. 1,000 for medical professionals and laboratory managers and Rs. 500 for laboratory technicians must be submitted, which will be generated online during the application process.
