JIT Summons 10 Members of PTI’s Social Media Team, Including Zulfi Bukhari, Over Negative Propaganda

Islamabad:The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) established by the federal government has summoned 10 members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) social media team, including Zulfi Bukhari, in connection with spreading negative propaganda. The JIT has issued notices to the individuals involved, directing them to appear for questioning.

The purpose of the JIT is to identify the perpetrators in accordance with the law and take legal action against them. The individuals summoned by the JIT include Asif Rashid, Muhammad Arshad, Sabghatullah Wark, Azhar Mishwani, Muhammad Noman Afzal, Jibran Ilyas, Syed Salman Raza Zaidi, Zulfi Bukhari, Musa Wark, and Ali Hasnain Malik.

The investigation is being conducted under the leadership of the Inspector General of Police, Islamabad. The JIT is focusing on individuals who have spread anti-Pakistan content and made baseless allegations on social media.

The JIT has substantial evidence against the accused, showing their involvement in the matter. The summoned individuals have been instructed to appear before the JIT on **March 7, 2025, at 12:00 PM** to clarify their position regarding the allegations.

It is important to note that the JIT was formed through a notification under the **Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016, Section 30** (F.No.8/9/2024-FIA).
