Quetta: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan and MPA, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, strongly condemned the bombing at Darul Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak, which led to the martyrdom of Maulana Hamid al-Haq Haqqani and several other scholars and students of religious knowledge. He described the attack as a tragic and horrific incident, calling it an act of extreme savagery.
Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman stated that this act of terrorism is a clear and devastating failure of both the provincial and federal governments, as well as the security forces and intelligence agencies. He expressed his deep sorrow, calling it a tremendous loss for the entire Muslim Ummah. He extended his condolences to the families of the martyrs, the Muslim community in Pakistan, and the entire nation.
He criticized the government’s inability to protect its citizens and stated that the state had effectively handed over its people to the mercy of terrorists. He highlighted how the imposed terrorism had turned Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan into areas soaked in the blood of their people.
Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman held the government, parliament, courts, and state institutions responsible for this collective failure and the continuing wave of violence, particularly in these provinces. He stated that the country is suffering due to the inability of these institutions to ensure the safety of its people from such terrorist attacks.
