JI Amir demands resignation from Election Commission

Lahore: Hafiz Naeem-ul-Rahman, Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, has called for the resignation of the Election Commission. Reacting to the Supreme Court’s decision, he exclaimed, “The tyranny has been broken, by the grace of God.” He welcomed the court’s decisions on specific seats, noting that they exposed the dual standards of certain parties who had unlawfully seized seats against the public’s will.
Further commenting on the situation, Hafiz Naeem-ul-Rahman stated, “Some parties were playing games on both sides of the wicket. This matter should not end here.” He emphasized the need to form a judicial commission based on Form 45 to rightfully return seats in both the national and provincial assemblies to their rightful owners.
