Quetta:Zahid Akhtar Baloch, the General Secretary of Jamiat-e-Islami Balochistan, has denounced the threats directed at Maulana Hidayatullah Rahman in the Balochistan Assembly, declaring him as the true spokesperson for oppressed Baloch and Pashtun communities and a voice for the hearts of people across Balochistan. Criticizing the intimidation tactics allegedly issued by Ali Madad Jattak, Zahid Akhtar Baloch asserted that Maulana Hidayatullah Rahman will continue to utilize the platform of the assembly for the rights of the downtrodden.
Furthermore, he announced that starting from today, a caravan of activists and officials from all districts of Balochistan will depart for Islamabad to participate in a rally scheduled for July 26th. Meanwhile, Deputy Amir of Jamiat-e-Islami Balochistan, Bashir Ahmed Mandai, condemned the threats against Maulana Hidayatullah Rahman, emphasizing his role as a representative of the people’s aspirations, especially those of the marginalized and oppressed, rather than bowing to intimidations.
Addressing the gathering in Dera Murad Jamali, Zahid Akhtar Baloch reiterated that Jamiat-e-Islami will raise its voice on every platform for missing persons, oppressed Baloch, Pashtuns, settlers, and minorities. He urged the youth and the nation to join hands against the rising electricity prices, declaring a nationwide protest starting from July 26th in Islamabad.
