Jaffar Express Departs with Over 400 Passengers After Terror Attack in Balochistan

Quetta:Jaffar Express, which was previously targeted in a terrorist attack, has resumed its journey from Quetta, carrying over 400 passengers toward its destination. According to the Divisional Superintendent (DS) of Railways, foolproof security measures have been put in place to ensure the safety of the passengers on board.

Yesterday, Jaffar Express had departed from Peshawar with more than 200 passengers heading toward Quetta. Federal Minister Amir Muqam had inaugurated the departure of Jaffar Express from Peshawar.

It is important to note that 17 days ago, Jaffar Express was hijacked by terrorists near the Bolan area of Balochistan. The terrorists took the passengers hostage and opened fire, resulting in the martyrdom of 26 individuals, including 18 soldiers. In response, the Pakistan Army launched a counter-operation, resulting in the elimination of all 31 terrorists involved in the attack.
