Islamabad: There is a possibility of a substantial increase in the prices of petrol and diesel starting from July 16. The price of petrol may increase by Rs. 7.67 per liter, while diesel prices may rise by Rs. 3.72 per liter.
In another blow to the citizens, they will have to bear an increase of Rs. 7.67 per liter for petrol and Rs. 3.72 per liter for diesel starting from July 16, 2024, for the next fifteen days.
The new expected prices could be set at Rs. 273.28 per liter for petrol and Rs. 281.17 per liter for diesel by the end of the next fifteen days.
There is also a possibility of an increase in the prices of kerosene oil by Rs. 2.73 per liter and light diesel oil (LDO) by Rs. 0.92 per liter.
The new expected prices could be Rs. 184.25 per liter for kerosene oil and Rs. 166.65 per liter for LDO.
