Islamabad Police Takes Custody of Rescued Lawyer intezar panjutha
Islamabad: intezar panjutha, a lawyer associated with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and recently rescued from kidnappers, has been handed over to Islamabad police. The Aٹک police successfully recovered him from his abductors.
Following his recovery, intezar was transferred to Islamabad police custody. A case regarding his alleged abduction and subsequent disappearance has been registered at the Kohsar police station in Islamabad. The SP City of Islamabad police visited Attock with a police contingent to ensure intezar’s safe transfer.
He was rescued by the Hasan Abdal police in Attock, who found him in a car with his hands and feet bound. The kidnappers fled the scene after firing shots during their escape, abandoning the vehicle in a remote area.
The Islamabad police will include the recovery details in their report for the ongoing case at the Kohsar police station. Furthermore, investigations will proceed based on the information provided by intezar
regarding the kidnappers, who had reportedly demanded a ransom of two crore rupees.
