Islamabad High Court has issued a written verdict declaring Chief Commissioner’s order to withdraw the permit for PTI’s rally as null and void. According to Express News, the decision came after hearings on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s application. Chief Justice Aamer Farooq issued a five-page written verdict, directing the Islamabad Administration to reconsider the NOC withdrawal request in accordance with the law and reasons provided. The decision highlighted that the Chief Commissioner withdrew the NOC before informing any PTI representative, despite the party having filed a request against the order in court.
It was evident that PTI had lodged a plea against the Chief Commissioner’s order in the court.
