Islamabad High Court Approves Request to Combine PTI Founder’s Meeting Cases

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court has approved the request of the Superintendent of Adiala Jail to merge the cases related to the meetings of the founder of PTI.
The hearing was conducted by Acting Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Sarfraz Dogar, who addressed the objections raised by the Registrar’s Office regarding the request to combine the cases.
The lawyer for the Superintendent of Adiala Jail stated that the SOPs for meetings with the PTI founder have already been established in the intra-court appeal. Additionally, the requests for meetings with the PTI founder are scheduled to be heard by different benches.
The lawyer further mentioned that his client, the Superintendent of Adiala Jail, is required to appear in the Islamabad High Court five days a week, and consolidating the cases in a single bench would allow him to appear only once for all related cases.
The Islamabad High Court approved the request to combine the cases regarding the PTI founder’s meetings and directed the formation of a larger bench for the hearings.
