Islamabad High Court Appoints Additional Judges, Senior Advocate Adil Aziz Qazi Included in Nominations

Islamabad:The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) has made a significant update in its nominations for additional judges in the Islamabad High Court (IHC), adding a new name to the list. A supplementary notification regarding the new nomination was issued by the Secretary of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan.

According to the notification, **Senior Advocate Adil Aziz Qazi** has been nominated for the position of an additional judge in the Islamabad High Court. His nomination has been added as the 20th name in the list of proposed judges for the court.

### **Nominee List for Islamabad High Court**
Previously, the Judicial Commission of Pakistan had received the list of names for additional judges in both Islamabad and Balochistan High Courts. For Islamabad High Court, 19 names were submitted, and for Balochistan, 11 names were forwarded.

On **Friday**, the Judicial Commission of Pakistan issued two separate notifications, confirming the nomination of four additional judges for the Islamabad High Court. Among the 19 names, there are three **District Session Judges** and one **Additional Session Judge**. The names included in the proposed list are **Additional Session Judge Humayun Dilawar**, **Session Judge Raja Javed Abbas Hassan**, **Session Judge Azam Khan**, and **Shah Rukh Arjmand**.

### **Further Names in the Nomination List**
In addition to these, **Advocate Adnan Basharat**, **Advocate Syed Qamar Hussain Subzwari**, and **Advocate Umar Aslam** are also nominated. The list also includes **Inam Ameen Munhas**, **Muhammad Usman Ghani**, and **Rashid Cheema**.

Other nominees for the additional judges’ positions include **Advocate General Islamabad Ayaz Shaukat**, **Advocate Adnan Haider**, **Nadrat Bayan Majid**, **Sultan Mazhar Sher Khan**, **Kashif Ali Malik**, and **Daniyal Ijaz**.

Additionally, the **Judicial Commission** has also proposed **Shahid Mahmood Khokhar**, **Babar Bilal**, **Muhammad Abdul Rafiq**, and **Chaudhry Hafeezullah Yaqoob** for consideration.
