Islamabad Court Extends Asad Qaiser’s Interim Bail in Sangjani Rally Vandalism Case

Islamabad:An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad has extended the interim bail of former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser in the case related to the vandalism during a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally in Sangjani.

The hearing was conducted by Judge Abu al-Hasanat Zulqarnain, who reviewed the case. During the proceedings, Asad Qaiser’s defense lawyer, Ayesha Khalid, filed a request for an exemption from his attendance in court due to health issues.

Ayesha Khalid informed the court that Asad Qaiser was unwell and attached a medical certificate to support the request.

The court accepted the request and granted Asad Qaiser exemption from appearing. Additionally, his interim bail was extended until January 7.
