Internet Services Disrupted in Pakistan Due to Fault in International Submarine Cable

Islamabad:Pakistan’s internet services have been affected due to a fault in an international submarine cable, causing inconvenience for users across the country. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) issued a statement confirming that a disruption was reported in the “AAE-1” submarine cable, which plays a crucial role in linking Pakistan to global internet traffic.

A PTA spokesperson noted that the issue has resulted in connectivity problems for broadband and internet users nationwide. The submarine cable in question is one of seven cables connecting Pakistan to international networks. The authority assured that technical teams are working diligently to fix the fault and restore normal service as soon as possible.
