Quetta: Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove has asserted that Gwadar, Balochistan, and its people are integral to Pakistan’s development. He emphasized that Gwadar is a vital part of Balochistan and Pakistan, and its progress is essential for the nation’s overall growth.
Langove dismissed concerns about Gwadar being taken away, stating that development projects in collaboration with China are ongoing. He emphasized that Gwadar’s development should not be hindered by negative political tactics.
Langove criticized the current state of affairs, noting that if development in Gwadar had been consistent for the past 20 years, the city’s residents would have been enjoying a prosperous life today. He accused certain elements of deliberately obstructing Gwadar’s progress and keeping its people backward.
The Minister highlighted that under the guise of Baloch nationalism, efforts are being made to prevent the development of Gwadar. He condemned the ongoing violence in Balochistan and called on the people of Balochistan and Gwadar to reject divisive and protest-based politics that aim to halt the region’s development.
Langove reassured that Pakistan will remain steadfast and enduring, emphasizing the need to overcome negative influences to secure a better future for Gwadar and Balochistan.
