Interior Minister Contacts PTI Chairman, Denies Permission for Protest or Rally

Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has informed PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar that no permission will be granted for holding a protest or rally in light of a ruling by the Islamabad High Court.
According to Express News, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reached out to Barrister Gohar and discussed the current situation following the Islamabad High Court’s directive. Naqvi emphasized that the government is bound by the court’s order, which prohibits any processions, sit-ins, or rallies in the capital.
The Interior Minister also briefed Barrister Gohar about the visit of a high-level delegation from Belarus, led by the President, which will be in Islamabad from November 24 to 27. The Belarusian delegation, consisting of 80 members, is scheduled to arrive on November 24, with the President himself arriving on November 25. The delegation will remain in Islamabad until November 27.
In response, Barrister Gohar stated that he would consult with his party leadership before providing a final response regarding the matter.
