Interim Governor of Balochistan Emphasizes No Tolerance for Disrupting Peace and Stability

Quetta:Interim Governor of Balochistan, Captain (retd) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai, stated that no one will be allowed to disrupt the law and order situation in Balochistan. He emphasized that the resolution of public issues lies not in strikes and blockades but in dialogue and within the constitutional framework.
Achakzai made it clear that no group or individual has the right to make life difficult for the general public for personal or group interests. He asserted that the peace and stability of the province are the top priorities, and any unlawful actions will not be tolerated.
Describing street blockages, strikes, and business closures as anti-public measures, the Interim Governor highlighted that such actions harm ordinary citizens the most. He pointed out that these disruptions don’t affect the state but cause severe hardships for the public, including daily wage workers losing their livelihood, patients being unable to reach hospitals, students suffering due to school closures, and general citizens facing difficulties on the streets.
Achakzai emphasized that the best way to resolve all issues is through dialogue and constitutional means. He urged the public not to engage in any activity that could disturb the province’s peace and increase the hardships of the citizens.
He appealed to all sectors of society to play a constructive role in ensuring the stability of Balochistan and stay away from any illegal or anti-public activities.
