Quetta:Balochistan is witnessing a series of beneficial initiatives in health, education, and other sectors, thanks to collaborative efforts involving the Pakistan Army, FC Balochistan (North), and oil companies like OGDCL.
Over the past five years, significant investments have been made: PKR 659 million in education and skill development, PKR 335 million in healthcare, and PKR 228 million during natural disasters. More than 200 students from Balochistan have received scholarships worth PKR 175 million to pursue higher education in the country’s top educational institutions.
In Dera Bugti district, 22 ambulances and free medical camps are being set up under Health Care Units (DHQs) to provide local communities with essential healthcare facilities.
Residents of Mazar-e-Marri in Kohlu district express gratitude, stating that scholarships from OGDCL have enabled them to pursue higher education. They also appreciate OGDCL’s support during floods, providing tents and other relief items.
These initiatives reflect a commitment to harnessing Balochistan’s natural resources for the welfare and development of its people.
