Information Minister Ata Tarar Accuses PTI Leaders of Plotting to Overthrow Islamabad, Criticizes Leaders for Fleeing Amid Protests
Islamabad:Federal Minister for Information, Ata Tarar, has accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders of attempting to seize control of Islamabad and launch a violent attack on key government institutions, including Parliament. Speaking to the media, Tarar claimed that PTI leaders Ali Amin Gandapur and Bushra Bibi were part of a coordinated escape plan and had fled in the same vehicle during the ongoing protests.
“This was not the final call; it was a missed call,” Tarar remarked. “Ali Amin Gandapur and Bushra Bibi fled in the same vehicle, leaving behind their supporters. They came to Islamabad to free their leader, but once they failed, they abandoned their workers and ran away.”
Tarar further accused PTI of having a larger, more violent plan for the capital. “They had a clear strategy to take over Islamabad. There is evidence showing that they intended to enter the Red Zone and attack Parliament. They also had plans to target key government officials in important positions,” he claimed. “The containers were also set on fire because they contained sensitive information.”
Reflecting on the events in Islamabad, the Information Minister stated, “I have personally travelled from D-Chowk to Seventh Avenue, and I saw PTI members fleeing the Red Zone, leaving behind shoes and clothes. Their vehicles collided as they scrambled to escape. PTI members ran for their lives, tail between their legs.”
Tarar also took aim at Ali Amin Gandapur, calling him a “coward” for his repeated fleeing during crucial moments. “Ali Amin Gandapur’s name should now be synonymous with ‘fugitive.’ This is the second time he has run away. It has become a pattern for Bushra Bibi as well, the so-called ‘housewife’ who fled along with him. They said it was a final call from their leader, but in the end, it was their supporters who were left behind.”
The Information Minister continued, “Those who ran away in shame should feel embarrassed for abandoning their supporters in such a crucial time.”
Tarar also highlighted the broader consequences of PTI’s actions, criticizing the party for causing damage to the country’s economy and political stability. “There has been harm to the 26th Constitutional Amendment, and now we see damage in Islamabad. PTI has been trying to destabilize the economy. The public should not fall for their deceit; the end result for them will never be good,” he warned.
The comments from Ata Tarar underscore the increasing political tensions in Islamabad, with the government accusing PTI of not only orchestrating chaos in the capital but also attempting to undermine the political and economic stability of the country.
