Indian Woman Sells Husband’s Kidney for Money and Escapes with Lover

In a shocking incident in West Bengal’s Howrah district, a woman allegedly convinced her husband to sell his kidney for 1 million rupees, with the intention of using the money for their daughter’s education. However, after the surgery to remove the kidney, the woman took the money and fled with her lover.

According to reports, the woman had been pressuring her husband for over a year to sell his kidney to improve their financial situation and secure a place in a good school for their 12-year-old daughter. Eventually, the husband agreed, and last month, after the kidney sale, he brought home 1 million rupees. The wife instructed him to rest after the surgery, but just a few days later, she abruptly left the house, taking the money kept in the wardrobe with her.

After her disappearance, the husband and his family, with the help of friends, tracked her down in Kolkata, where she was living with a man. This man, who the woman reportedly befriended on Facebook a year ago, is said to have had an illicit relationship with her.

Police have initiated an investigation based on the husband’s complaint. Authorities have stated that they will soon question both the woman and her alleged lover and take further action.
