Indian Passenger Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Karachi Airport
Karachi: An Indian passenger flight made an emergency landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport. According to aviation sources, the flight, operated by an Indian airline, was en route from Delhi to Jeddah when a male passenger fell seriously ill while flying over Pakistan’s airspace.
The flight crew provided the passenger with oxygen, but his condition worsened. As a result, the pilot contacted Karachi Air Traffic Control (ATC) to request permission for an emergency landing on humanitarian grounds.
Upon receiving clearance, the pilot changed the aircraft’s course towards Karachi, where it safely landed at the airport. Once on the ground, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority’s medical team boarded the plane and provided the necessary medical assistance to the ailing passenger.
