Quetta:Police in Hub city have been unsuccessful in curbing a recent surge in burglaries, robberies, and incidents jeopardizing public safety. In a single night, unidentified thieves cleaned out five homes in Bhawani, Qasimabad, and adjacent areas, making off with cash amounting to hundreds of thousands, along with valuable mobile phones and jewelry. Despite extensive efforts, the Hub City Police have struggled to apprehend the culprits behind these audacious crimes.
Maulana Shah Muhammad Sadiqi, the influential leader and Municipal Corporation representative of Hub Tehsil, expressed deep concern over the escalating incidents of burglary and robbery in Bhawani Qasimabad. He highlighted that just the previous night, unknown assailants raided homes in Bhawani Qasimabad and neighboring areas, looting residents of significant amounts of cash, jewelry, and precious mobile phones before fleeing the scene effortlessly.
He emphasized that such criminal activities have become a norm, plaguing residents with fear and insecurity. Maulana Shah Muhammad Sadiqi urged the Inspector General of Police, Balochistan, to take immediate notice of the rising incidents of burglary and robbery in Hub City, including Bhawani Qasimabad, and enhance police efforts to restore peace and security in the area.
