Islamabad:In a tragic incident in Ali Pur, opponents in a land dispute tied a young man to a tree and set him on fire, resulting in fatal injuries as he was being transferred to the hospital.
According to police reports, the incident occurred in the vicinity of Muthan Wali Basti, near Sittpur police station. Four suspects tied Ehsanullah with ropes to a tree and then ignited petrol, causing severe burns.
After receiving initial medical aid, Ehsanullah was being transported to Multan for further treatment, but tragically succumbed to his injuries en route.
Police have registered a case and initiated a search for the suspects involved in this heinous crime.
