Imran Khan’s Survival Now Impossible, Claims Faisal Vawda; Faiz Hameed Provides Key Evidence

Islamabad: Senator Faisal Vawda has claimed that former Director-General (DG) of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General (retd) Faiz Hameed has provided crucial evidence against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, which includes various electronic devices.
Speaking on ARY News’ program, Vawda stated that the troubles for Imran Khan and his allies are set to increase as Faiz Hameed has handed over significant evidence, including devices, against them. “This evidence will make it extremely difficult for Imran Khan to escape,” Vawda remarked.
He further emphasized that Faiz Hameed’s case has weakened the PTI’s calls for civil disobedience under Imran Khan’s leadership. “Without Faiz Hameed’s case, PTI’s leadership, including Khan and his wife, would not be facing these challenges,” Vawda said.
The former minister also expressed that he would not be surprised if Imran Khan were subjected to a military trial. He added that investigations into other alleged crimes involving Faiz Hameed are still ongoing.
The independent senator also claimed that PTI is planning to launch a new social media campaign aimed at gaining public sympathy and altering the narrative in its favor.
Vawda urged the government to engage in talks with PTI and seek a resolution, pointing out that while Nawaz Sharif leads the ruling party, there has been no public statement regarding negotiations.
The statements come amid ongoing political tensions and legal challenges surrounding Imran Khan and his party.
