Imran Khan’s Lawyer Claims Stolen iPhone Ended Up in India
Islamabad:Advocate Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry, the lawyer of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, has claimed that his stolen iPhone, which was taken from him near Islamabad, has ended up in India. Chaudhry, who is involved in numerous legal cases concerning Imran Khan and the PTI, made this startling revelation, adding that the phone contained sensitive data related to the cases of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
According to Chaudhry, he was contacted by the phone company, which informed him that his stolen iPhone was activated in the Indian states of Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. The lawyer expressed his shock, as the phone had been taken from him in Islamabad on December 23, shortly after the hearing of the Al-Qadir case. The phone was stolen in Faizabad, and an FIR was registered at the I-9 police station.
Chaudhry questioned the legality of the phone’s journey, remarking that while smuggling used to occur through Afghanistan, it is now surprising to see such routes allegedly opening up through India. He expressed disbelief at how the stolen device could have crossed international borders and ended up in a neighboring country.
The incident has raised concerns about the security of sensitive legal information related to high-profile cases and sparked discussions about the possible use of the stolen data. Chaudhry’s claim further highlights the increasing tensions surrounding the ongoing legal battles involving Imran Khan and his party, as well as the potential security threats posed by such breaches.
