Imran Khan Warns Government on Judicial Commission or He Won’t Continue Talks

Islamabad:Former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan has warned the government that he will not proceed with the ongoing negotiation process unless a **Judicial Commission** is formed to investigate the events of **May 9** and **November 26**.

During a meeting with media and lawyers on Wednesday at **Adiala Jail**, Imran Khan emphasized that the establishment of a transparent judicial commission is crucial to ensure justice for the victims of these events. He stated that he would not allow the incident to be forgotten until justice is served to the victims.

### **”Six Weeks Have Passed, Yet Many Workers Are Still Missing”**

Imran Khan expressed deep concern over the continued disappearance of several PTI workers, particularly after the **November 26** incident. “Today marks six weeks since the incident, yet many of our workers are still missing,” he said. He clarified that the workers had disappeared from **D-Chowk, Islamabad**, not from tribal areas. He accused the government of making no serious efforts to locate or present these missing individuals in court, which, according to him, reflects the government’s lack of seriousness in addressing the party’s demands and the negotiation process.

### **Committee Formed for Missing Persons**

Imran Khan announced the formation of a committee to investigate the missing persons issue. The committee will be led by senior lawyer **Qazi Anwar**. “We demand a transparent investigation into the killing of our people on November 26, when 64 were injured, and 14 were martyred,” he added. He urged his party members to raise the issue of the missing persons at every level.

Imran Khan also accused the authorities of harassing the families of the victims. He shared the case of **17-year-old Anis Shahzad Satti** from **Kotli Sattian**, who was martyred, and how his grieving family was pressured to withdraw their case. “The same happened on **May 9**,” Khan said.

### **”My Demands Are Just, But Government Is Not Serious”**

Imran Khan reiterated that his demands were **just and reasonable**, but the government is not taking them seriously. He also lamented that he is being denied the legal right to meet his party members.

### **Imran Defends Bushra Bibi**

Imran Khan strongly condemned the ongoing campaign against his wife, **Bushra Bibi**, stating that everything she does is for him. He further remarked that such distractions like the **Sindhgani** narrative are used to divert attention from the real issues. He praised Bushra Bibi for her role in arriving at **D-Chowk** with party workers, calling it a significant achievement and offering her his heartfelt gratitude.

### **”The 10-Year Plan of Military Rule”**

Imran Khan remarked that Pakistan is currently under the **10-year plan of military rule**, of which **two years** have already passed. He criticized the system, saying that those involved in oppressive decisions are promoted while honest judges are removed. He gave the example of **Humayun Dilawar**, who made an illegal decision and was promoted, while **judges in Rawalpindi and Sargodha**, who ruled justly, were dismissed.

### **”Fascist System Will Hinder Economic Progress”**

Imran Khan warned that under the **fascist system** in place, economic progress will remain a distant dream. “For economic prosperity, investment is essential. However, investment can only occur when institutions perform their constitutional duties within their limits and not overstep their boundaries,” he said.

### **”Terrorism on the Rise While Our Party Is Being Targeted”**

Imran Khan expressed concern over the rising **terrorism** in the country and its impact on investor confidence. He lamented that those responsible for tackling terrorism are instead using all their resources and energy to target his party.

In conclusion, Imran Khan stressed the importance of setting aside personal egos and short-term interests for the sake of **national progress** and the **prosperity of the people**. He called on the government to prioritize the country’s long-term future over political maneuvering.
