Lahore: Imran Khan has approached the Anti-Terrorism Court for bail in the 12 cases filed against him on May 9. According to Express News, the founder-chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has filed applications through his lawyer Salman Safdar in the Anti-Terrorism Court seeking bail in the aforementioned cases. PTI’s stance on the applications filed asserts that all cases are under judicial remand and no recovery has been sought from PTI.
The cases against the police are allegedly based on false charges aimed at revenge. PTI has requested the Anti-Terrorism Court to approve the bail applications filed after the arrests. The court has been requested by PTI to grant bail in cases including the Jinnah House attack case and the siege of Military Tower.
