Islamabad:Founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has filed a challenge in the Lahore High Court against the rejection of bail in three cases related to the May 9 lockdown.
Barrister Salman Safdar, representing PTI’s founder, lodged petitions in the Lahore High Court opposing the denial of bail in cases pertaining to the May 9 sit-ins. The petitions assert that the trial court had improperly rejected bail contrary to facts, urging the High Court to overturn the decision to deny bail.
It is noteworthy that on July 9, the Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court had granted bail to PTI’s founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan in three cases related to the May 9 sit-ins. The Lahore ATC had denied bail in cases related to the May 9 lockdown, including Jinnah House
