Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi Approach Islamabad High Court Against A in Tosha Khana Case
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi have filed a petition with the Islamabad High Court challenging their recent arrests in the Tosha Khana case. The application, submitted through Barrister Salman Safdar and Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry, asserts that both leaders were detained without legal justification in fabricated cases for political vendetta.
Allegedly, federal and Punjab governments seek to keep Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi under custody amid contempt notices issued during hearings, which the Islamabad High Court considers humiliating. According to the petitioners, political opponents are systematically using NAB for continuous political retribution. The plea requests the court to ensure that arrests are not made solely on the basis of case registration and to impose conditions in line with High Court directives in future cases.
