Imran Khan Approaches Court for Bail in 12 Cases on May 9
LAHORE: Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has filed for bail in 12 cases on May 9, seeking relief from the Anti-Terrorism Court.
The former Prime Minister Imran Khan has submitted applications through his lawyer Salman Safdar in the Anti-Terrorism Court, stating that all cases are based on political victimization and judicial remand. The applications assert that there is no recovery of any kind from PTI, and all cases are politically motivated.
It is clear in the filed applications that the Anti-Terrorism Court should accept bail applications post-arrest. It is pertinent to mention that both Imran Khan and PTI have filed for bail in various cases, including the Jinnah House attack case and the Military Towers siege.
