Mumbai: Bollywood heartthrob Imran Hashmi has expressed his preference for Indian playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, over Pakistani singer Atif Aslam. In a recent interview, Imran Hashmi discussed his career and the music in his films.
When asked to choose between Atif Aslam and KK, Imran Hashmi admitted it was a tough choice but leaned towards KK. “I think my preference would be KK because I admire him more,” he said. Imran praised KK for lending his magical voice to many of his films, which continues to resonate with audiences.
Imran Hashmi also acknowledged the talent of Pakistani singer Mustafa Zahid, particularly appreciating his work in the film “Awarapan,” which remains popular to this day.
Krishnakumar Kunnath, born on August 22, 1968, in Delhi, tragically passed away at the age of 53 during a live performance in 2022 due to a cardiac arrest.
