Quetta:In a recent session of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly, three crucial standing committees convened to elect their chairs. Members unanimously elected the Chairs of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), the Balochistan Development Authority (BDA), Gwadar Development Authority (GDA), and Urban Planning and Development Committee.
Asghar Ali Tareen was chosen as the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, while Peter Saint Messiah Kochi was elected as the Chairman of the Balochistan Development Authority (BDA), Gwadar Development Authority (GDA), and Urban Planning and Development Committee. Additionally, in the Housing and Physical Planning Committee session, Zabid Ali Raki was elected as its Chairman by the Assembly members. These appointments mark significant developments in the governance and planning sectors of Balochistan.
