Lahore:a woman impersonating an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) was arrested after she entered a police office in uniform. According to the Civil Lines Police, the woman, identified as Ayesha Sadiqah, approached the staff and requested to see an officer, claiming she had business with them.
Suspicion arose among the security personnel due to her choice of fancy sandals worn with the police uniform. When questioned, she could not provide any proof of being a police officer.
Further investigation revealed that the woman is a resident of Lahore’s Defense area. The police have taken her into custody and registered a case against her, with ongoing inquiries to gather more information.
