Islamabad:In a special visit to Pakistan, Sheikh Dr. Salah bin Muhammad al-Budeir, the Imam of Masjid-e-Nabawi, will lead the Friday prayers at Faisal Mosque today. Dr. al-Budeir is in Pakistan for a seven-day goodwill tour, during which he is scheduled to meet with the Prime Minister and the Chief of Army Staff.
Yesterday, Dr. al-Budeir had a meeting with former President Asif Ali Zardari. His visit marks a significant occasion for the local Muslim community as he will conduct the Friday prayers at one of Pakistan’s most prominent mosques.
