Karachi:The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the teaser for the official anthem of the upcoming Champions Trophy, with renowned singer Atif Aslam lending his beautiful voice to the track. The 18-second video released by the ICC features the flags of all participating countries, including Pakistan and India, alongside Atif Aslam performing the anthem.
The lyrics of the anthem are “Dhartee Dekho Dhadke, Jeeto Baazi Larkay Hain,” and the full version of the song is set to be released today. The teaser has gone viral on social media, with fans praising both the anthem and Atif Aslam’s performance.
Fans have expressed their excitement, eagerly awaiting the release of the full anthem to hear more from their favorite singer, with many calling him a superstar.
The Champions Trophy will kick off on February 19 at Karachi’s National Stadium, with Pakistan facing New Zealand in the opening match. The highly anticipated clash between traditional rivals Pakistan and India will take place on February 23 in Dubai.
A total of 8 teams will participate in the ICC Champions Trophy: Pakistan, Australia, England, India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, and New Zealand. These teams have been divided into two groups.
Group A includes host Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, while Group B consists of Australia, England, Afghanistan, and South Africa. The Indian team will play all three of their group matches in Dubai, and the first semi-final will also be held in Dubai. The second semi-final and the final will be scheduled in Lahore. However, if India makes it to the final, the match will be played in Dubai.
