Lahore: The anticipated schedule for matches of the ICC Champions Trophy to be held in Pakistan next year has been unveiled. The tournament, featuring 8 top teams divided into 2 groups, will kick off with Pakistan-India clash on March 1st, with the final set for March 9th in Lahore.
According to the proposed schedule of ICC Champions Trophy matches, Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh form Group A, while Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan are placed in Group B.
Host Pakistan will host group matches across Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi. The opening match is scheduled for February 19th in Karachi between Pakistan and New Zealand. On February 20th, Lahore will witness the clash between India and Bangladesh, followed by Afghanistan taking on South Africa in Karachi on February 21st. The group stage concludes with Afghanistan versus Australia in Rawalpindi on February 28th.
