Islamabad:Mishaal Malik, the wife of detained Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik, has condemned India’s actions in occupied Kashmir, stating that the Indian government has deprived people of their right to protest.
In an interview on Geo News’ program “Geo Pakistan,” Mishaal Malik highlighted the severe impact of Indian policies on the region. She claimed that the Indian occupying forces have seized land from the people of Kashmir and established illegal housing societies.
“Indian actions have caused a trillion-dollar loss to the Chamber of Commerce in occupied Kashmir,” Mishaal Malik asserted. She also criticized the Indian forces for infringing on the religious freedoms of Kashmir’s residents.
Malik emphasized the ongoing struggle of the Kashmiri people against the overwhelming presence of 1 million Indian troops. “Despite global indifference, the Kashmir issue remains a critical flashpoint in the region,” she said.
Mishaal Malik’s comments reflect ongoing concerns about the humanitarian and political crisis in occupied Kashmir, highlighting the broader implications of the conflict for both regional stability and international relations.
