Humanitarian Crisis Unfolds as Security Forces Abandon Drivers in Chalgami

Quetta:In a distressing incident in Chalgami, a border area between Pakistan and Afghanistan, multiple drivers were reportedly left stranded in the desert under intense heat after being detained by security forces. Images and videos circulating on social media depict the dire situation of these drivers, who were left to wander in the desert. Reports suggest that some individuals are critically dehydrated near the vicinity of Rekodik due to lack of water, raising concerns about potential fatalities.

The administrative team of the Rekodik mining company swiftly dispatched a rescue team to provide essential supplies including water, juice, and food to the stranded individuals, ensuring their safe return to Nokundi. Social media has praised the humanitarian efforts of the Rekodik Project administration, contrasting it with the condemnable actions of the security forces.

In response to this incident, the National Party has announced protests against the alleged atrocities committed by security forces against Baloch drivers, scheduled for tomorrow.
