َIslamabad:The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall in several cities today, including Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Gujrat, Faisalabad, parts of Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Karachi is expected to experience rain in the evening or night, while areas like Umerkot, Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, Mithi, Sanghar, Thatta, Badin, and Sajawal are also likely to receive rainfall. Additionally, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir may also see showers today. The Pakistan Meteorological Department has also announced the onset of the fourth spell of monsoon rains in Punjab starting today, with southern Punjab expecting clouds and rainfall from tomorrow. It is noteworthy that Karachi witnessed heavy thunderstorms yesterday in certain areas.
