Karachi: The metropolis of Karachi witnessed a significant break from its intense heatwave as predicted by the meteorological department. Various parts of the city experienced a series of rainfall, ranging from light drizzles to heavy downpours, providing relief from the scorching temperatures.
Areas including Malir, Airport, Sohrab Goth, Safari Chowrangi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, University Road, and Gulistan-e-Jauhar reported record rainfall. Moreover, clouds gathered over Shahrah-e-Faisal, Sir Jinnah Town, and FB Area, where rain poured down, flooding several streets and trapping commuters on motorcycles.
Earlier predictions from the meteorological department accurately foresaw the possibility of heavy rainfall today in Karachi.
