Quetta:Quetta city and rural areas experienced a sudden and intense spell of rain, breaking the summer’s grip and bringing pleasant weather. Flash floods were reported in various vegetable markets, washing away their produce along with other goods in the torrential downpour.
The arrival of flash floods in the Zawar River caused several areas, including Quetta city, Kapoto, and Sorkhine Aali Dast, to be submerged. The heavy rainfall alleviated the intensity of the summer heat, making the weather pleasant in Quetta after the downpour.
