Karachi: After sweltering under scorching temperatures, Karachi experienced a pleasant change with heavy rainfall during the afternoon hours. According to details, areas including Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Clifton, North Nazimabad, PECHS, and Malir witnessed intense showers, significantly reducing the severity of the heat.
The Meteorological Department had not predicted any rain for Karachi, but had suggested the possibility of drizzle or light rain in the evening or night.
Over the next 24 hours, Karachi is expected to remain warm and humid, while the minimum temperature recorded in the past 24 hours was 30.5 degrees Celsius.
