Heavy Rain and Snowfall Bring Cold Weather to Rawalpindi and Islamabad

After a long time, both Rawalpindi and Islamabad experienced heavy rainfall, bringing a refreshing change to the weather. On Wednesday night, cities across Punjab, including Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, and Hafizabad, received significant rainfall.

In addition, various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also witnessed rain, and snowfall occurred on the Sufaid Koh mountains, further dropping temperatures and intensifying the cold.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, there is a likelihood of more rain and snowfall today in Islamabad, upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. The region of Pothohar and northeastern Punjab may also experience hailstorms at some places.
