Heavy Rain and Hailstorm in Murree, Weather Turns Cold in Islamabad

Murree experienced heavy rainfall and hailstorm, causing a drop in temperature, while Islamabad also saw intense winds, thunder, lightning, and hail. According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected today in Islamabad, upper Punjab, northeastern Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan, with the possibility of hail at some locations.
The Meteorological Department further reported that heavy rain and hail in Murree have made the weather colder, while Islamabad experienced similar weather conditions, including rain and hail with thunder. Additionally, rainfall has made the weather pleasant in Banue and surrounding areas.

The Meteorological Department also highlighted that the rest of the country is expected to experience warm and dry conditions. Over the last 24 hours, the highest temperature in the country was recorded in Dadu, reaching 47°C. Other cities with high temperatures included:

– **Bhawalnagar, Khairpur, Larkana, Mithi, Mohenjo-daro, Nawabshah, and Padidan:** 45°C

– **Muzaffarabad:** 32°C
