Karachi: The coastal city of Karachi continues to experience intense heat and humidity due to the absence of sea breezes, according to meteorological authorities. However, there is a possibility of scattered showers accompanied by thunderstorms tomorrow.
The Meteorological Department reports that low atmospheric pressure persists over southern and southeastern Karachi, leading to a continuous influx of moist air from the Arabian Sea into Sindh province.
Today, Karachi will remain hot and humid, with chances of drizzle in various parts during late afternoon and night. Some areas might also experience light to moderate rainfall.
Over the next 24 hours, gentle winds from various directions are expected in the city. Today’s temperature in Karachi could exceed 40 degrees Celsius, with humidity possibly making it feel like 48 degrees Celsius.
Monday is expected to see continued warm weather in Karachi, with a potential decrease in the intensity of heat from Tuesday onwards.
