Hassan Ali Opens Up About His Marriage and How He Decided to Wed Indian Girl Sameer Arzu

Pakistani fast bowler Hassan Ali recently shared insights into his personal life, revealing that he first met his wife Sameer Arzu in 2018, and decided during the World Cup that he would marry her.
In a recent podcast, Hassan Ali candidly discussed various aspects of his cricketing career and personal life. He shared that when he expressed his desire to marry an Indian girl, no one objected, and everyone accepted his decision without hesitation.
Hassan explained that he first met his wife in Dubai through a mutual friend, and when he made the decision to marry her, he told his brother first, who, according to Hassan, was not initially serious about the idea and advised him to focus on cricket. However, when Hassan spoke to his mother, she supported his decision, saying, “If you’ve thought about it, then it must be a good decision,” and Hassan’s brother eventually traveled to Dubai to meet Sameer.
The cricketer mentioned that there was no objection from either side of the families regarding the marriage, and both families readily accepted it. However, it was only when he traveled to India for the World Cup that he realized he had married an Indian girl.
It’s noteworthy that Hassan Ali married Sameer Arzu, an Indian national, in August 2019, and the couple has two daughters. Their wedding was a small, intimate ceremony held at a hotel in Dubai, attended by their close family members.
