Governor of Balochistan Urges National and International Investors to Tap into Region’s Economic Potential
Quetta:The Governor of Balochistan, Sardar Jaffar Khan Mandokhel, emphasized that the province is emerging as a key economic and trade hub, rich in natural resources and minerals. Speaking to a Chinese delegation of investors at the Governor House in Quetta, he highlighted that Balochistan offers significant investment opportunities, not only for large-scale investors but also for small and medium enterprises, as well as individual business owners.
Governor Mandokhel pointed out that Balochistan is strategically located, making it a region of immense importance for trade and commerce. He added that despite the province’s relatively small and dispersed population, there are numerous avenues for investment that can benefit both local businesses and national economies.
He also underscored the province’s abundant mineral resources, including gold, copper, chromite, and marble. He proposed that by establishing processing facilities for these valuable minerals and promoting exports, Balochistan could harness its resources effectively. The governor further stated that such investments would create job opportunities for the youth of the region and help stimulate the local economy.
